Speech Therapy focuses on receptive language, the ability to understand words spoken to you, and expressive language, the ability to use words to express yourself. Speech Language Pathologists also support articulation, social communication, and feeding and swallowing.
In the birth-to-three population, communication grows out of connection. Our Speech Language Pathologists build therapy around play, books, songs and daily routines so that babies and toddlers have a reason to communicate many times a day.
Families are coached directly. Parents and caregivers learn strategies for modeling language, expanding on what their child already does, and creating an environment rich in opportunities for communication throughout the day.

What a session actually looks like
Our clinicians work where children live and play — living room floors, kitchen tables, backyards and parks — with caregivers right there in the session.
Caseloads are built around real drive times, and every clinician is supported by an interdisciplinary team that shares strategies across disciplines.
